It's Red Dawn meets Sicario.
“Mercury Plains” is a kinda crazy movie about a young man recruited into a paramilitary outfit. This group is made up of teens that are trained to kill drug cartels in Mexico, but they might be overextending their reach. Only Scott Eastwood can bring them down, but that’s when things turn typical. The premise is insanely interesting, even if the execution leaves a lot to be desired. The DVD comes with a commentary, deleted scenes and trailer gallery as the special features.
