Maitland Ward Tops June Comic Con Earnings. Because of Course She Did

Maitland Ward pulled in nearly $20,000 at Garden State Comic Fest this month, making her the top-grossing mainstream celebrity at regional comic cons across the U.S. for June 2025.

Yes, that includes Juliette Lewis. Yes, that includes Taryn Manning, Ashley Eckstein, and even Vanessa Angel.

And all it took was one perfectly timed nostalgia hit, a reunion with a cult co-star, and fans who still….still…..quote White Chicks like it just dropped.

Ward and Dudek Reunited: That’s the Headline

The draw? Ward reunited with her White Chicks co-star Anne Dudek in West Orange, New Jersey. First time together in public since 2004. For a film that people only pretend to be ironic about, this was a real-deal moment.

That one photo-op line kept traffic flowing all weekend. Fans showed up dressed as their favorite White Chicks characters—white suits, blonde wigs, and all. What started as a press note turned into a full-blown cosplay trend across Instagram and TikTok.

Ward didn’t just show up. She dominated. And she did it by being accessible, photogenic, and fully in on the joke.

Numbers Don’t Lie: $20K and Counting

According to regional event data, Ward earned almost $20,000 in photo ops, merch, and autographs in one weekend. That puts her ahead of:

  • Juliette Lewis
  • Ashley Eckstein
  • Taryn Manning
  • Vanessa Angel

…all of whom have strong followings but didn’t bring the same combination of mainstream familiarity, pop culture relevance, and adult entertainment fandom.

Ward’s appeal cuts across niches: ’90s sitcom nostalgia, cult comedy, and her successful pivot into adult entertainment. She’s built a multi-platform following that actually shows up in person.

Ward’s Take

“It’s really meaningful to be recognized in this way, especially among so many talented people who’ve built such strong connections with their fans. I’ve worked across a lot of different spaces, and to see that it resonates with people, and to connect with them in person, that’s what makes these events so special.”

She’s not wrong. Ward’s built a rare crossover career where mainstream fans, adult entertainment subscribers, and convention die-hards all meet at the merch table.

It’s not common. It’s not easy. But it’s profitable. And sustainable.

What Other Maitland Ward Coverage Skipped

Other outlets ran the same bland bullet points:

  • “Ward reunites with Anne Dudek.”
  • “Fans cosplay.”
  • “Big weekend earnings.”

Here’s what they missed:

  • Ward’s interaction rate blew past expectations. Most actors phone in these appearances. Ward hugged fans, quoted dialogue, and shared fan edits in real-time on social.
  • She out-earned talent with recent studio credits, showing that fan loyalty isn’t about what’s new—it’s about who still connects.
  • Her cross-platform presence (Patreon, OnlyFans, ManyVids, X, Instagram) drives the kind of in-person turnout most stars wish they had.

The Bigger Picture: White Chicks 2 Is Coming

You think this was a fluke? Wait until White Chicks 2 ramps up in 2026. Ward’s Comic Con streak is only going to get hotter. She’s already confirmed for several appearances later this year, and if this June’s numbers hold, she’ll be at the top of the guest list (and the earnings chart) for every show that gets her.

We’ll cover it all here when the sequel marketing campaign finally kicks off. Until then, this was the moment that reminded everyone:
Maitland Ward isn’t back…she’s still here, and she’s running this side of fan culture like a pro.
