“Lycan” has great chills and gore. Plus, it’s set in 1986. What is it with horror films suddenly loving the mid 1980s to explain away its short comings? Oh well, if you can hang, it’s a fairly standard Werewolf movie to scratch that particular horror itch. For those that demand more, go out and see “It”. For those that want something else, well pick up the Hammer Horror Collection. We’re slowly entering into a golden age of Horror. The bad stuff is pretty good, the good stuff is great and the great stuff is becoming legendary. Just shut up and watch the Werewolf movie already.

The Plot Thus Far
When six college kids in a sleepy Southern town are assigned a group project to rediscover a moment in history, one of them sets in motion a horrific fate when he proposes they head into the Georgia backwoods to tackle the legend of Emily Burt, a hundred year old true fable of “the Talbot County werewolf”.
