LIDIA CELEBRATES AMERICA REVIEWED
Lidia returns to celebrate America in “Home for the Holidays”. Lidia invites six celebrities from Christopher Walken to Rita Moreno to Padma Lakshmi and others. Apparently, Lidia and Walken are friends from childhood, so they share a number of stories. What Lidia does while entertaining her guests is share holiday dishes based on their roots and ethnic heritage. The celebrity guests talk about how their families came to America or set up American traditions. It’s a fun release that I wish we got to see more of on PBS.
