Jenna Haze Reunites With The Pretty Reckless for “When I Wake Up” Music Video

Jenna Haze is back alongside longtime friend Taylor Momsen in the new music video for The Pretty Reckless’ latest single, “When I Wake Up,” from the band’s new album, Dear God.

Directed by Momsen and Chris Acosta, the NSFW video follows a chaotic night out before shifting to a series of stylized performance and narrative sequences. Haze joins Momsen for a girls’ night before appearing opposite former Gossip Girl actor Connor Paolo.

The release marks Haze’s third collaboration with The Pretty Reckless, following appearances in the band’s videos for “My Medicine” and “Messed Up World (F’d Up World).” Their creative partnership has also included an FHM photo spread, guest vocals from Haze on “Follow Me Down” and a live performance with the band.

“Being a part of this project is super exciting for me as I adore the band and their music,” Haze said. “I truly have the coolest friends! I have loved watching Taylor and the band evolve over the years. This just might be their best album to date. I am so honored and grateful to be a part of it.”

Haze has remained connected to the music scene beyond her work with The Pretty Reckless. She appeared on the cover of Deafheaven’s 2025 album Lonely People with Power and was featured across the band’s merchandise, tour artwork and promotional campaigns.

Away from entertainment, Haze spent five years, from 2020 through 2025, working full time with unhoused and marginalized communities in Los Angeles. During that period, she also completed seven years of university studies and earned her master’s degree in 2024.
