INCONCEIVABLE REVIEWED
“Inconceivable” feels like a 1992 script recast for a modern audience. This is the kind of adult thriller that Touchstone used to dump into theaters during the winter, so that your parents could leave you home to watch “Family Matters”. But, you get a young femme fatale with lesbian tendencies now. Most of that plot line rips off “Poison Ivy”, but that came later. Didn’t it? Anyways, Cage holds back as the Doctor father that just wants this young woman to serve as a surrogate for his family.
What follows is seduction, attempted murder and crazy stuff. While this movie won’t win over all audiences, it still works. Pick it up, if you want a fun sleazy thriller.
