WHAT WE THOUGHT
“Hunting the Nightmare Bacteria” is a pretty short Frontline documentary about how fast bacteria is spreading through the nation’s hospitals. The development of new antibiotics has been put on hold by fiscal speculation and regulation. So, we’re in what the CDC has deemed a nightmare scenario. It’s almost enough to make you jump out of a window. For the curious, the documentary ends way short of actually announcing any positive news. So, there’s that.
The DVD comes with no special features. The A/V Quality is on par for a PBS Documentary. Still, I wish we would get more of these releases in HD. But, I guess physical media is dying. In the end, I’d recommend a purchase to the curious.
