HOW FANDOR HELPED ME TO UNDERSTAND THE MODERN CANNES: A FILM ODYSSEY ON A HOLIDAY WEEKEND 1

At the start of this year’s Cannes Film Festival, I was contacted by the Fandor PR team about possible coverage of some of their Cannes titles. I agreed, as I was open to covering foreign and cult films for the next 90 days. That’s my bag and it’s never going to change. Rather than bore you with my initial 30,000 words about the current state of the Festival, why in the hell Kendall Jenner is allowed to attend and how far removed it is from American tastes…I decided to give you some recommendations for those Cannes selections that you might currently find at Fandor.

Due to the sheer volume of films at Fandor that we’ve been covering, we’ll chime in frequently throughout the Summer with some updates. For those signing up to the service, make sure that you take note of how certain films have small windows of availability. It appears that Criterion is getting ready to pull a handful off the site shortly.

Have your say!
