Taking its lead from a group of rural women, their isolated community makes huge jumps to join the modern world. I had read excerpts of the source book Jambusters, but I never bothered to finish it. The mini-series moves just as slow, but the acting will help to keep you focused.

Samantha Bond and Francesca Annis carry the show on their backs. But, much of their bickering feels manufactured to force drama. That’s not a bad thing, just slightly distracting. The A/V Quality is on par with past PBS Blu-Ray releases. The Blu-Ray comes with no special features.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]RELEASE DATE: 10/27/2015[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
