“Gorongosa Park: Rebirth of Paradise” offers up a look at the struggle for animal survival in Mozambique. Bob Poole takes us through the million-acre Gorongosa National Park, as his team chronicles the restoration of the Park following a bloody Civil War. The animals are angry and out of their natural habitats, but the groundskeepers need to tag the population to know who survived. Poole joins in the effort, as his passion for conservation pervades through all six hours of this series. The effort is truly exciting and it should impress all animal lovers. The DVD comes with 20 minutes of bonus video as the special feature.
