Old people are good for laughs.
“Getting On” returns for a second season of this strong comic adaptation of the popular British series. While the show seemingly comes to an end this year, it plays its laughs fast and emotional. The second season only strikes three hours, but it gets to the heart of the matter. People are going to die, you can’t stop it…so what can you do as a healthcare provider? The answers never come.
The DVD comes with deleted scenes and a gag reel as the special features. The A/V Quality is strong enough for standard definition. That being said, I’m not sure if the HD transfer would be that much better. You know, outside of general bitrate. I’d recommend a purchase to fans.
