GARDENS OF STONE REVIEWED

“Gardens of Stone” is about the Old Guard maintaining the graves at Arlington National Cemetery. If that wasn’t enough, Vietnam has everyone going crazy. James Caan makes time with Anjelica Huston, while D.B. Sweeney fights to stay on the screen. The best part of the film is James Earl Jones, but he only gets a few moments to break out. Growing up, it seemed like this film was always on Showtime. After a few years, it faded into oblivion. Thankfully, Mill Creek saw the opportunity to save the movie from SONY’s dark archives.
