THE GAME CHANGER REVIEWED
“The Game Changer” is a fun gangster movie that doesn’t totally try to do anything other than that. It plays like Michael Bay trying to do a 30s gangster movie. It gets the idea of what it wants to be, but it keeps making everything go bigger and bigger. There’s no ceiling on relationships, misunderstandings and people shooting each other. For a film that plays at 2 hours and 13 minutes, I could easily see 30 minutes cut off the film.
What is it that I’m trying to say? Oh yeah. If you like mindless World Cinema crime movies, this will do it for you.
