Freestyle Digital Media, the digital film distribution division of Byron Allen’s Allen Media Group, has acquired North American rights to the stylish mystery-thriller When the Ringlights Dim. The film debuts March 18, 2025, on all major VOD platforms and DVD.

What is When the Ringlights Dim:

When a renowned Los Angeles influencer is kidnapped, her friends realize they’re on their own. With no clues or obvious suspects—and unable to turn to the authorities—a group of social media stars band together. Using the tools they know best—Instagram, TikTok, dating apps, and viral sleuthing—they race to uncover the truth and rescue their friend. But each post brings them deeper into danger, testing their loyalties and challenging their reality.

Written and directed by Wil Glavin, the film marks his feature debut, blending classic mystery elements with modern influencer culture.
