FLIGHT OF THE BUTTERFLIES REVIEWED
“Flight of the Butterflies” spends 44 minutes trying to defy the normalcy of IMAX eye candy. What we get is a HD and 4K look at the depths and highs of butterfly flight patterns. Showcasing the highs and lows of Monarch Butterflies from birth to flight, we get to find something beautiful. These creatures have such short lives and we’re lucky to be invited into their world. Through their natural flight patterns and ability to stick together, viewers will be left stunned.
Animal migration is something to behold in its natural state. While science can explain a great deal of their ability to fly, the audience rarely gets a shot at being one with the butterflies. I love the creative camera work, as it exploits the best that the IMAX format has to offer the world. Stunning work all around and well deserving of your time.
