WHAT WE THOUGHT
“Be Fit in 30 Extreme” is a disc that I didn’t start using until the day before Thanksgiving. I finished it about a couple hours after Thanksgiving, as exercising with a gut full of stuffing isn’t pleasant. Hopefully, you can hang it together longer than I could. After all, it is a 30 day workout program that’s focused on intensity. Honestly, I haven’t worked out for 30 days since college. But, that’s because you get as much athletic equipment as you would if you were in prison. Sheer boredom and being in a remote area helps those factors along.
Exercise is essential, but I also need to essentially finish “Shadow of Mordor”. When real work stares down my desire to keep working on smaller stuff, the smaller stuff wins. As I flip through the DVD, I noticed that a small paper insert fell out of the case and it listed how to work out a monthly schedule to get fit. It reminded me way too much of those fitness challenges that flooded Facebook during the Spring and I just have to say that I don’t buy it. Call me skeptical, call me lazy.
The DVD comes with an isolated music only option and custom workout capability as the special features. The A/V Quality is on par with past exercise releases. The standard definition transfer is clean. The same goes for the Dolby track. In the end, I’d recommend a purchase.
