DON’T GROW UP REVIEWED
“Don’t Grow Up” is about a disease that turns anyone that grows up into a zombie. Now, a bunch of teenagers are trying to deal with a diminished population and a complete lack of societal rules. What will do when they realize that they have to live now before everything goes down? Watching these kids pal around like some sort of twist John Hughes movie is fun. However, I always fall out with these movies when it comes to the violence.
That’s on me for growing attached to these guys, but you invited me into their world. It’s pretty effective for a movie that runs at a brisk 80 minutes. Still, I’m glad that it didn’t overstay its welcome. I know that the director is foreign, but I would’ve killed for some sort of commentary track.
