[text_block_nav title=”The Plot”]”Dark Places” has an amazing cast, amazing script and I can’t figure out why I’m not that interested by it. I like the whole setup of a woman revisiting her family’s brutal death. The film wants to apply real world cynicism to media circuses and occult slayings. Unfortunately, there is way too much going on and zero time spent trying to make sense of what’s going down. A jumble is a jumble, but I was intrigued. Maybe a second viewing is in order.[/text_block_nav]
