Vivian Howard returns with a Holiday Special for “A Chef’s Life”. Vivian does her best to mix Southern cooking with her husband’s Chanukah cuisine. Then, she gets fellow chefs to help her make a corned ham. The juxtaposition of going from the Jewish stuff to the ham made me laugh. What did impress me was the creation of the Hoppin’ John. I’m a fan of the simple Holiday treats and I found that one to be impressive. The DVD comes with a recipe PDF as the sole special feature.
