Blue Hawaii isn’t the best Elvis movie, but it’s our first quality shot at Elvis Presley action in 4K. No, I’m not counting Austin Butler. Yes, I’m daring the region free individuals to shoot me down. Still, I’m digging this release.
The 4K and Blu-ray comes with a commentary and photo scrapbook. I dig the commentary track that celebrate film history.
Still, I kinda wish we could have got more special features. But, I learned that it doesn’t pay to be picky in this fickle era. Even Criterion doesn’t always have the supplementals.
