BEFORE I DIE REVIEWED
“Before I Die” lasts so long. While I like the FX and some of the kills, there are about 20 minutes of this film that just drag. That’s typical for low budget horror and horror book to film adaptations. What you end up getting is a low-rent Salem’s Lot riff that doesn’t add up to much. Or is it a Silver Bullet knock-off? Well, there aren’t any werewolves…or vampires. The religious aspects of fighting supernatural evil are quite cool, but nothing new happens. Oh well, it’s worth checking out for the curious.
