Be Here Nowish is an original comedy series about two women who move from New York to Los Angeles looking for success in their careers, spiritual lives… and most importantly in sex. The show was created by and stars Natalia and Alexandra. The second season of Be Here Nowish premieres November 12th on Vimeo On Demand. NATALIA LEITE and ALEXANDRA ROXO, a.k.a. PURPLE MILK, are two Brazilian-American gals who met mid-Saturn return and decided to team up as they navigated the changes caused by planetary shifts and those inherent in the film world. Together they created the provocative Vice show, “Every Woman – Life As a Truck Stop Stripper,” that has garnered over 6 million views. They’ve also co-directed documentaries for Vice, including a doc about Andres Serrano’s work in Cuba and a profile on Lady Gaga’s stylist Nicola Formechetti. Alexandra and Natalia created and starred-in their acclaimed comedy series “Be Here Nowish” which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival N.O.W. in 2014 and has been featured in The Sunday Times, The Guardian, The New Yorker, and Vogue. The series stars Karley Sciortino (Slutever), Caitlin Fitzgerald (Masters of Sex), Brett Gelman (Go On), Baron Vaugh (Grace & Frankie), and Kyp Malone (TV On The Radio), among others. In 2015, Purple Milk premiered Natalia Leite’s feature film debut “Bare”, produced by Alexandra Roxo, at the Tribeca Film Festival, starring Dianna Agron (Glee) and Paz De La Huerta (Boardwalk Empire). The film is being released in October by IFC. They also co-directed music videos and commercials.
