A couple heads to the wilderness to see the natural sights and find a like. Unfortunately, they get lost and stumble into the domain of the bear. Fearing for their lives and facing down a certain mauling, can this young couple hold it all together? The answer for the most part is a stern “No”.
Nature attack films run the gamut and I appreciate killer bear movies. What I liked more than anything was the response of the main cast. There’s no Quint, there’s no savage hunter discovered within. These are people who are practically crapping their pants in fear at what’s going on. I don’t want heroes, people. I want realism.
The Blu-Ray comes with an audio commentary, featurette, trailer and still gallery as the special features. The A/V Quality is stunning for a lower budget film. The 1080p transfer plays well with light during exterior scenes. The DTS-HD 5.1 master audio track is also dynamic across all channels. In the end, I’d recommend a purchase.[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
