Millennium Entertainment is proud to announce the home entertainment release of Gabe Ibáñez’s sci-fi thriller, AUTOMATA. Antonio Banderas (Desperado, Evita, The Mask of Zorro, Machete Kills) leads the all-star cast of Melanie Griffith (Working Girl, Lolita, HBO’s RKO 281), Dylan McDermott (ABC’s “The Practice,” Olympus Has Fallen, CBS’ “Hostages”) and Robert Forster (Jackie Brown, Mulholland Drive, The Descendants, Olympus Has Fallen) in the film that hails as “compelling and thought provoking.” Audiences can take home the futuristic film on DVD and Blu-Ray™ November 18, 2014.

In a future where Earth’s ecosystem verges on collapse, man-made robots roam the city to protect dwindling human life. When a robot overrides a key protocol put in place to protect human life, ROC Robotics insurance agent Jacq Vaucan (Antonio Banderas) is assigned to locate the source of the manipulation and eliminate the threat. What he discovers leads Vaucan, ROC Robotics and the police into a battle with profound consequences for the future of humanity.
