Apple TV+ just released a first look at Smoke, a new nine-episode crime drama created by Dennis Lehane and starring Taron Egerton, premiering globally on Friday, June 27, 2025.
Reuniting the creative team behind Black Bird, the series follows a pair of investigators locked in a tense hunt for two serial arsonists.
Expect fire. Figuratively and literally.
The Premise
Based on true events and inspired by the Firebug podcast from Kary Antholis, Smoke blends real-world horror with a pulpy, emotionally fractured procedural structure.
