Apple TV+ released a first look today at The Hunt (Traqués), the upcoming French-language thriller from César Award-nominated filmmaker Cédric Anger (Next Time I’ll Aim for the Heart). The series debuts December 3, 2025, with two episodes, followed by new episodes every Wednesday through December 31.
The cast includes Benoît Magimel (Pacifiction, De son vivant), winner of Cannes Best Actor and three César Awards, and Mélanie Laurent (Inglourious Basterds, Wingwomen), a two-time César winner. They are joined by Damien Bonnard, Manuel Guillot, Cédric Appietto, Angelyna Danabe-Mignot, Paul Beaurepaire, Yann Goven, Sarah Pachoud, and Patrick De Vallette.

In the series, Franck (Magimel) and his longtime friends spend weekends hunting in the French countryside. When they encounter another group of hunters, the meeting turns violent, leading to a deadly clash. Franck tries to resume his life with his wife Krystel (Laurent), but soon realizes they are being tracked by vengeful enemies.
The Hunt is created and directed by Anger and produced by Gaumont (Lupin, Becoming Karl Lagerfeld, Totems). Executive producers include Isabelle Degeorges, Clémentine Vaudaux, Alexis Barqueiro, and Sidonie Dumas.
The series joins a slate of French originals on Apple TV+, including the International Emmy Award-winning Drops of God, the upcoming culinary drama Carême, and Liaison, starring Vincent Cassel and Eva Green.
