Anchor Bay Films announced today the Blu-ray™ and DVD release of ‘small time’.  The film, directed by network television icon Joel Surnow (“24”,”The Kennedys) and starring Christopher Meloni (“Law & Order: SVU), Dean Norris (“Breaking Bad”, “Under the Dome”), Devon Bostick (Diary of a Wimpy Kid) and Bridget Moynahan (“Blue Bloods”)is headed to retail on June 3rd and will include the feature film alongside a  hilarious audio commentary with writer/director Joel Surnow and actors, Christopher Meloni and Dean Norris for a suggested retail price of $26.99  for the Blu-ray™ and $22.98  for the DVD.  ‘small time’ is now available On Demand and for digital download on iTunes.“Powerful, wise and uplifting. It’s a perfect Father’s Day movie” comments Avi Offer of the NYC Movie Guru.

Inspired by a true story , “small time” tells the story of Al Klein (Meloni) and his longtime friend, Ash Martini (Norris), who own a used car lot. These two know every trick in the book when it comes to selling cars. Martini is a good time charley, who never settled down.  Klein, however, still pines for his ex-wife Barbara (Moynahan) who left him years ago for a more successful man.  After their son, Freddy (Bostick,) graduates high school, he decides to forego college in favor of selling cars with his old man. Klein is thrilled when Freddy moves in with him – it’s the first time these two have lived under one roof since Freddy was a kid.   Barbara, on the other hand, is very far from thrilled. But what’s good for Klein might not be the best thing for Freddy, as Freddy quickly transforms from innocent young man into a seasoned car salesman…leaving Al with a tough decision to make.

Small time co-stars Kevin Nealon (“Weeds”, “SNL”), Xander Berkeley (Taken), and Garcelle Beauvais (Flight).

Stephen Farber of the Los Angeles Film Critics Association notes “Christopher Meloni and Dean Norris as seasoned used-car salesmen and Devon Bostick as their young protégé all give superb performances.”
