AFTER REVIEWED

“After” plays like Final Destination meets The Langoliers meets Silent Hill. While that sounds like a crazy concept, the limited budget undercuts a ton of the possibilities. After you get past the initial scares, the film runs on a standard loop. When the 90 minutes ends, I felt like I got beat in a marathon. So, I restarted the film to find a spot where the story went off the rails and then I went glassy-eyed. That’s when it dawned on me. This is a one-and-done film for most, but I won’t fault those that want to check it out.
