CARD WARS REVIEWED

“Card Wars” is a compilation of sixteen episodes centered around Jake’s favorite game and his desire to teach it to his daughter. Once you get past this basic introduction to Ooo’s version of Dungeions & Dragons. That’s it for the compilation’s supposed theme. The rest of the 14 episodes left on the disc are a mixed back from over the last few years. Some are great, some are just good. But, you do get the stellar What Was Missing episode that hints at a possible relationship between PB and Marceline.

I get the marketing need for releases like this, but after awhile kid superfans are just going to have 14 DVDs of the same 100 episodes just assembled in different ways. Season sets just make much more sense people. Nice and orderly releases that don’t use two episodes to justify a complete release. Although, it was cool getting my very own Card Wars card inside of the DVD box. So, that might just make up for it.
