Abella Danger has spent years answering other people’s questions. Now she’s the one asking them.
Danger welcomes longtime friend Madison Ivy for the online premiere of The Abella Show: Danger She Spoke, a new Brazzers Creator interview series that puts the former performer behind the desk for conversations about adult entertainment, pop culture, philosophy and whatever else catches her attention.
The debut episode, “Getting Real w/ Madison Ivy & Abella Danger,” is streaming now on YouTube.
Madison Ivy Gets Real With Abella Danger
The premiere gives Danger a familiar first guest.
Ivy looks back at becoming Brazzers’ first female contract star and discusses her experiences in the industry, but the conversation doesn’t stop with career history.
Danger also gets into the interests that occupy Ivy away from work, including her longtime connection to anime and the influence it has had on her personality and outlook.
For Danger, that ability to move beyond the standard interview checklist is the entire reason for starting the show.
“After years of being interviewed, I started thinking about the questions I would ask from the host’s chair,” Danger said. “I know so many fascinating people, and I wanted a place for conversations that are smart, funny and surprising.”
“I’ve wanted to do this for a long time, so I’m excited to finally share it and see where it goes.”
Abella Danger Tries Something Different
Danger comes to podcasting with plenty of material to pull from.
The former adult performer amassed more than 900 scene credits during her on-camera career and remains connected to the industry as a Brazzers ambassador. She’s also a college student, giving The Abella Show room to move well outside the usual performer-interview format.
The idea is less about another promotional stop and more about finding out what makes each guest interesting once the obvious questions are out of the way.
Starting with Madison Ivy gives Danger a chance to establish that format with someone she already knows well. The existing friendship makes for a relaxed debut while setting up the broader mix of personalities and subjects the series plans to tackle.
