“The 4-in-1 Drama Collection” allows Mill Creek to show off the best Travolta movies it has licensed. While I like Perfect, I still want to see the film presents in its real Aspect Ratio. But, the other three films are some of Travolta’s lesser 00s work. Not lesser in the bad sense, but more in the least built-up movies. If you pick up this release, make sure to grab it for “A Love Song for Bobby Long”. Making its debut on Blu, the film is a rather laid back teen headlined drama.

Scarlett Johansson did her best working off of John Travolta, as Travolta delivered award worthy work. But, Travolta playing a Tennessee Williams type in a wistful teen movie wasn’t enough for the heavily competitive 2006 awards season. The cinematography pops in a way that is stunning for the era. If you can appreciate that sort of thing, then go for it.
