WHO GETS THE DOG REVIEWED
“Who Gets The Dog” is a very soft touch of a film. While it’s about a couple divorcing, both of them are very amicable. It’s just that they can’t agree on what to do with their dog. The white little beast is named Wesley James and he seems to realize that his humans need him. Is one dog’s love enough to keep these lovebirds together? Probably not.
For a film that could’ve easily floated itself to Hallmark, it must’ve might had some sort of indie release. I couldn’t name a Festival or city where this film played, but somebody had to care enough to exhibit. The signs of it being Direct-to-Video aren’t there, so I’m stumped. What is a writer to do? The answer is stall for time, as it’s painfully obvious that they have nothing to say about this movie.
So, I’ll just take a hard-line dose of my ‘Member Berries and talk about Clueless. I would bring up Batgirl, but nobody wants to be reminded of when Silverstone played Batgirl. ‘Member when she got that condom out of the trash in “The Crush”? Wasn’t that gross?
