Four Award-Winning Foreign Language film favorites debuts on SHUDDER TV in July

….and arriving on AMAZON PRIME for first time from the Academy Award-winning Director of “March of The Penguins” comes the documentary Antarctica: Ice & Sky

Antarctica Ice & Sky from the award-winning Director of March of The Penguins makes Amazon Prime premiere July 19th

From Oscar®-winning director Luc Jacquet comes a stirring portrait of French glaciologist, Claude Lorius, whose groundbreaking research in Antarctica gave us the first clear evidence of man-made global climate change. Lorius discovered his destiny as a college student when he joined an expedition to Antarctica in 1955; land essentially untouched by scientific experiment. He would go on to participate in twenty-two expeditions during his long career, facing unforgiving conditions and brutal personal challenges that were rewarded with an amazing discovery: using ice cores thousands of meters deep, tiny air bubbles suspended in the ice reveal the composition of the planet’s atmosphere over nearly a million years. Through remarkable archival footage and stunning drone cinematography, Antarctica: Ice and Sky is an epic tale where science and adventure meet, equal parts contemplative memoir and an ardent call to action.

Hans Zimmer “Supermarine”: receive a free download with ticket purchase at Fandango

Advance tickets are now on sale on Fandango for Christopher Nolan’s epic drama “Dunkirk,” opening July 21, and one of the five most anticipated movies of the summer, according to a nationwide poll of more than 10,000 Fandango fans.

Fans purchasing “Dunkirk” tickets on Fandango – whether for the 70 mm, IMAX or other formats – will get a gift-with-purchase (offer valid from 7/7 to 7/31): a free download of Hans Zimmer’s “Supermarine,” a riveting 8-minute cue from the Oscar-winner’s highly-anticipated score to the movie.

“’Dunkirk is one of the greatest suspense stories of all time,” says Nolan, “and our film needed a score to reflect that and to propel the audience through a telling of this story that is more thriller than war film. Hans’ unique score drives the visceral sense of action the film needs to put the audience right into the story, using images, sound, and music.”
