WEAPONIZED REVIEWED
“Weaponized” is a B-movie about nanotechnology powered soldiers bringing a new face to the future war. There’s a private eye angle to the film, but let’s take a step back. This is the kind of movie that Albert Pyun would’ve passed on. The level of schlock matched by whatever Mickey Rourke was doing produces something intense. It’s just the film equivalent of having a bum yell at you, right before he falls into an open manhole.
There is a generous portion of the audience that will eat this up. Honestly, I’m still not part of that crowd. If you dig this sort of thing, I recommend picking it up. It’s neat to see what Michael Pare is doing now.
