TUBES LIVE AT GERMAN TELEVISION REVIEWED
The Tubes took to German TV to host a Musikladen concert. I checked out the 91 minute concert and I’m still not quite sure what happened. None of the music are major 80s hits. Hell, most of them wouldn’t make a Cult 80s mix tape. It’s art house noise slapped together with a stage show that seems like a slight Oingo Boingo rip-off. Do with that what you will.
If you can swing it, it’s worth a shot. Otherwise, I’d watch careful selection on YouTube before making up one’s mind. My previous point about musical performance DVDs remains. Some things just weren’t meant for younger viewers.

The Plot Thus Far
For the first time on DVD. The fantastic concert of The Tubes presenting their album “Completion Backward Principle ” in the studios of Radio Bremen, Germany in 1981. The concert was completely filmed and shows Fee Waybill, Roger Steen, Bill Spooner, Rick Anderson, Vince Welnick, Michael Cotton and Prairie Prince in top form. A rousing show with many scenes and dancers .
