THROUPLE REVIEWED

“Throuple” was a hard film to peg down. While it’s a tropical murder mystery, it’s also a dark comedy examining the modern state of relationships. Love exists in many forms, but no two people agree upon it in the same way. When a viewer can push past the eccentric nature of the supporting cast, then the truth is revealed. For a film that plays at a smidge under 90 minutes, it feels like it took too long for that to happen. Plus, a lot of quality material ended up in the deleted scenes. I’m not going to tell a filmmaker what to do, but a Throuple Redux might fix some pacing issues.
