NBC announced today that host Jay Leno will welcome superstar JAY-Z who will perform with Rihanna and Kanye West when the trio of entertainers break the seal on Leno’s new series in the premiere of “The Jay Leno Show” (Monday-Friday, 10-11 p.m. ET) as the new comedy series debuts on Monday, September 14.
JAY-Z with Rihanna and West will be the first to rock the program’s brand new stage as they perform “Run This Town.” The song is from JAY-Z’s highly anticipated new album “The Blueprint 3,” which will be available in stores and online on September 11.
“The Jay Leno Show” will be the first-ever entertainment program to be stripped across primetime on broadcast network television and will showcase many of the features that have made Leno America’s late-night leader for more than a dozen years.
“The Jay Leno Show” is from Big Dog Productions in association with Universal Media Studios. Debbie Vickers is the executive producer.
