NBC Universal Television, DVD, Music and Consumer Products Group, Reveille and Power Music have introduced the next album in a successful series of “The Biggest Loser” Workout Mixes entitled “The Biggest Loser Sports Anthems.” With high-energy favorites including “Let’s Get It Started” and “Don’t Stop Believin,'” listeners can enjoy a 60 minute workout like never before, exercising to their favorite stadium tunes. And, after just a few weeks, the newest album has already climbed into the top 5 on the iTunes Dance Chart the fastest climbing title to date.
Each of “The Biggest Loser” Workout Mixes is 60 minutes in length and all are available for download at the iTunes Music Store or www.thebiggestloser.workoutmusic.com.
The Power Music Workout Mixes are just one of the many quality health products currently on the market, which are affiliated with NBC’s hit reality series “The Biggest Loser.” “The Biggest Loser” airs on Tuesday nights on NBC from 8:00 to 10:00 p.m. (ET/PT).
Power Music has created a unique music platform in which the amplified beats-per-minute help users keep up a powerful pace as they exercise. Whether the exercise mode is jogging, bicycling, aerobics or striding, the music becomes the perfect “personal trainer” by helping people stick to a constant speed for the maximum workout experience. In addition to providing an excellent rhythm for aerobic workouts, The Biggest Loser Workout Mixes provide high energy motivation for all types of fitness training.
“The Biggest Loser Sports Anthems” joins seven previous titles including “Modern Rock Hits,” “Top 40 Hits Volume One & Two,” and “80s Hits Remixed.” The “Top 40 Volume One” recently hit #2 on the iTunes “Dance” Chart and has spent several weeks in the top 5. In addition, seven of the eight titles are currently in the top 50 on the Chart (which goes to 100 titles).
“We believe that music is the single-most motivating factor in a successful workout,” said Dan Hubbert, head of the consumer division of Power Music. “That is why we are focused on producing energy-driven music that makes you want to move! People surveyed have agreed that listening to music is more encouraging and actual research has shown that people that listen to music exercise 10 minutes longer than those who don’t.”
“NBC’s ‘The Biggest Loser’ has become an inspiration to so many who want to become their own “Biggest Loser at home,” said Shelli Hill, Vice President of NBC Universal’s Television, DVD, Music and Consumer Products Group. “We know that these workout titles can help people achieve their personal workout goals in an enjoyable and fun way and we look forward to introducing even more titles in the near future.”
“As ‘The Biggest Loser’ brand continues to grow, we’re looking for the best partners and products to provide our viewers with the tools they need to make healthier lifestyle choiceswhether that’s a diet plan, or an exercise regimen, or the right music to help keep you moving and motivated ,” said Mark Koops, Managing Director of Reveille, the production company behind “The Biggest Loser.”
