SCORCHY

SCORCHY REVIEWED

“Scorchy” is a film that was supposed to move Connie Stevens over into features. What we got was a mid 70s exploitation movie about a woman running a charter plan service for drug dealers. But, she’s also an undercover cop. It’s just that the case has taken two years and her superiors don’t seem that interested. A young Greg Evigan shows up in a small supporting role, but the film is supposed to feel like a Pam Grier movie for a white lady. Unfortunately, it never hits that level of quality.

What we’ve got is 90 minutes of Connie Stevens trying to play sexy while feeling like an Angie Dickinson clone. Do with that what you will.
