“TOP CHEF: LAS VEGAS” FEEDS THE TROOPS ON A SUPERSIZED EPISODE

It’s a super-sized and action-packed episode this week on Bravo’s Emmy and James Beard Award-winning series “Top Chef,” airing Wednesday, September 2 at 10 p.m. ET/PT (75 mins). It’s time to load ’em up and ship food out when the elimination challenge calls for feeding the famed Thunderbirds – the Air Force’s elite demonstration team. The chefs are given limited time and supplies to create a plentiful meal for 300 men and women stationed at Nellis Air Force Base, and their families. Some chefs rise to the ranks, others can’t get off the ground, and some chef’testants are overcome with emotion when they realize the sacrifice of those they’re serving. Mark Peel, owner of Campanile restaurant in Los Angeles, and former chef’testant on “Top Chef Masters,” guest judges.
