WHAT WE THOUGHT
Jimmy gives an explanation of the 33 day total body challenge, “that will have you building strength, burning fat and improve your overall level of conditioning in just 33 minutes a day.” Just like the book, the workouts are progressive, which means you try to do a little more today than you did yesterday and so on. The program targets upper body, lower body and core as well as cardio.
Throughout the workout, Mr. Pena gives us quick inspirations and encouraging snippets from the Bible. Workout is for the beginner to intermediate, with one person showing modifications. It’s nice to see that fitness DVDs are now catering to every sub-section of the population. Hell, I liked it just becase it was a legit workout.
The DVD comes with shorter Prayfit minute workouts and a journal to keep track of your activities. The A/V Quality is pretty sharp with a Dolby 5.1 track and a clean transfer. However, it’s still an exercise DVD and it’s not really going to blow up your home theater. That being said, it’s nice to see an Exercise DVD catering to a group like this. I’d recommend a rental.
