THE PASSING SEASON REVIEWED

“The Passing Season” is a look at what you do with your life after normalcy ends. Sam Aldean is a former pro Hockey player that returns to his hometown to relive his glorious teen days. But, everyone else moved on. The film delves heavily into the psychological impact of failure and it’s quite interesting. However, nothing else happens past that. You get the typical melodramatic attempts at building a new life, but that’s to be expected. While a quieter film, I truly hope that certain audience members find a way to connect with the material.
