THE MIDDLE FINGER REVIEWED
“The Middle Finger” is a spoof, but it’s also a great comedy. A slightly slow kid gets left back a year in school, so now he’s a bit anti-social. After being bullied and attacked for being different, our hero meets an alien. From there, the alien grants him powers. The cost is that his head is now a giant middle finger. Where will the fight for justice take him next?
Outside of Carney waxing poetic about music, I’m not that big of a fan of recent Irish cinema. But, I like how dirty and in-your-face this movie became after 20 minutes. Thankfully, the film plays short and never ruins itself.
