LINCOLN LAWYER, THE (4K UHD)

THE LINCOLN LAWYER 4K UHD REVIEWED

“The Lincoln Lawyer” follows Matthew McConaughey as a criminal defense lawyer cruising the LA area. While he moves freely about town in his Lincoln town car, does he ever step too far into the mire? The film plays closer to the source novels that inspired the film. Honestly, this is the kind of movie I expect when I see a John Grisham adaptation. But, Grisham books are trash. Sorry to all of the elderly readers out there.

There was a time after World War II, where the legal world wasn’t put on a shelf. Audiences got to see a pulpy aspect of bending the law to save lives. Don’t believe me? Go back and hunt down some of those original Perry Mason novels. Anyways, back to the film. Lionsgate is playing the field with their early 4K selections. While other studios are stuffing FX fodder onto the new format, Lionsgate wants to see what they can do with all the films in their slate.

The level of color saturation and visual fields really pop. Add onto that the Dolby Atmos track and you have a near reference quality disc. Pick it up!
