KATE GOSSELIN TO CO-HOST “THE VIEW,” SEPT. 14 & 15

ABC.com/theview today broke the exclusive news that Kate Gosselin (“Jon & Kate Plus 8”) is the latest addition to the growing number of celebrity guest co-hosts on “The View” who’ll sit in for Elisabeth Hasselbeck, who is on maternity leave until mid-October. Ms. Gosselin is scheduled for Sept. 14-15 and makes her first-ever appearances on the show. The announcement was posted today exclusively on “The View’s” official website, abc.com/theview, where up-to-the-minute information on the new season is available. Additional guest co-hosts will be announced in the coming weeks.  

Meghan McCain, daughter of former GOP presidential candidate John McCain, is scheduled to guest co-host Sept. 9-10 followed by LaToya Jackson on Sept. 16 and Sept. 18 and former Fox News Channel anchor E.D. Hill on Sept. 23-24.

“The View’s” Season Premiere airs live on ABC, SEPTEMBER 8 (11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon, ET). Viewers can visit the show’s official website at abc.com/theview for a countdown of the Top 10 most outrageous and talked-about moments from last season through Sept. 4. The site also features an up-to-the-minute online clock to count down the days, hours, minutes and seconds until the launch of the new season.
