I AM JFK JR REVIEWED

“I Am JFK Jr” followed the line of those recent Spike TV documentaries that tried to go in-depth on a celebrity. While most of the documentaries fit a certain build, this one felt more human. The documentary focuses on JFK Jr’s quest to stop being treated as a thing. America still has this weird relationship with political royalty that betrays its independent streak. Never has one country been so determined to be obsessed with celebrity and then decry the people they follow.

So many talking heads appear to repeat that same point, but it doesn’t matter. Those that were closest to him lost their relative or friend. For such an informative documentary, so much of the information is shrouded in tragedy. If you can handle a dour outing like that, this is for you. Otherwise, give it a pass.
