GUN SHY

GUN SHY REVIEWED

“Gun Shy” feels like a joke. I know it’s a movie, but it feels like Antonio Banderas got some friends together to come up with an excuse to get away from Melanie Griffith. Banderas plays a former rock star who’s dealing with his supermodel lady. The model gets kidnapped, but Banderas is too stupid to figure out how to get her back. The guy from Fringe shows up and plays psycho American agent. The caper is pointless, but it doesn’t really add up to much.

Simon West directed this and I wonder what happened. He was blowing up the 1990s for a hot moment, but I guess things get cold when you leave Bruckheimer’s shadow. The B-Movie fans will pick this up. Everyone else will do right to skip it.
