“Gored” offers unprecedented access to the world of bullfighting. As the “sport” fades, we find Antonio Barrera trying to hang onto what’s left of his career. While the documentary plays short, it doesn’t stick to the sadness of the collapse of bullfighting. Sure, we don’t get the perspective of what’s happening to the bulls, but Barrera tries to make sense of what’s going down. Still, why couldn’t we get a combination of Barrera’s 23 gorings on film? There has to be entertainment value there. Check it out, people.
