Plumbers by day, paranormal investigators by night…the TAPS gang is back in one of TV’s most popular shows. Jason and Grant, America’s favorite spirit sleuths, return with more unforgettable adventures from the hit series’ sixth season. Episodes include: Lemp Mansion, Grammar School Ghosts, The Oldest House in Georgia, Empire State Haunts, and Ghost of Christmas Past. TAPS also travels to Georgia to investigate Rhodes Hall with the help of the ladies from The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Get ready for some more thrills and chills.
WHAT WE THOUGHT
The second part of Season 6 keeps up the fast pace. The show which deals with paranormal investigations seems to be less about the paranormal and more about pulling fast ones on the viewers, viewers who seem to be more interested in the girls and guys seen on the show who have little crushes on these non-celebrities. When certain people try and debunk the shows evidence and point out parts of the show that seem to be obvious hoaxes the fans become defensive seemingly afraid these people may be exposed for exactly what they are… frauds. It’s what ghost hunting is all about after all, finding out what’s causing the unexplained happenings… and in this case we need to look no further then the big dogs in charge.
While they may not always find a lot of evidence or see numurous apparitions I still am very pleased with it. There couldn’t be things like that happening all of the time anyhow. Otherwise, to me, it would seem to be all made up and fake. That’s how I feel about lots of the paranormal shows. Ghost Hunters is one of the only shows that’s realistic, considering that they check for more logical reasons to what the people are experiencing.
The Blu-Ray comes with thirteen episodes and no special features. The A/V Quality is pretty strong with a 1080p transfer and uncompressed audio. Still, I wish we could’ve received the full season six in one package. Fans of the show won’t care. In the end, I’d recommend a purchase.
