DINOTOPIA: THE COMPLETE MINI SERIES REVIEWED
“Dinotopia” focuses on young brothers David and Karl after they survive a horrific plane crash. Their dad has died and they have no way to leave this new world. But, there are dinosaurs! The brothers meet new friends, a fascinating villain and some age appropriate females. All the while, I wonder how did this movie cost $80 million. Even for a lavish ABC production, I just can’t pinpoint where the money disappeared.
If you have a young child that digs dinosaurs, this will eat up 4 1/2 hours of their time. Meanwhile, you can spend that time bettering yourself. The dinosaurs want you to have “me” time. They never got it and now they’re trapped in Dinotopia and Jurassic Parks. That’s no way to live.
